This project is an entry for the Devtober2022 jam. It's still heavlily in development, so any feedback is appreciated down in the comments!
History:
2022.10.31 - Alpha Release
Controls:
Movement - Arroy Keys
Shooting - X key
Selecting upgrades - C
No Controller or Touch support yet.
Gameplay:
Enemies will procedurally spawn to try to defeat you. Upon reaching the bottom of the screen enemies will loop, and appear on top again!
This feature is under testing and may change in the future!
Pickups:
The game currently has 12 pickups, from which you can choose upon leveling up. Defeated enemies grant xp shard, which fill your experience bar.
Choose your pickups to help with your situation and achieve god mode.

fun, but really hard
fun game! i got to try every power (;
The ‘pew’ and ‘zap’ are a little to distracting/annoying when trying to dodge projectiles. Overall, I didn’t hate playing it, so that’s always a good sign. Will definitely be keeping an eye on the project you you continue to work on it.
Thanks for the feedback! I know the text bubbles aren’t for eveyone, the final build will probalby have a reduces mode, or even a toggle to turn them completly off for acessibility reasons.
The toggle idea is great.
